About half an hour drive takes you to the Sila National Park which was a UNESCO World Heritage Site for 2019, given its biodiversity and the beauty of its forest ecosystem. Camigliatello is the most touristic half, where it is possible to experience the snow in winter and to explore the mountains in good weather during trekking; a wonderful time is undoubtedly the autumn, with its foliage and the various local mushroom festivals. On the shores of Lake Cecita in the summer of 2017 have been found archaeological finds dating back to prehistoric animals.
